Here are a few relevant tips for digipainting stuff like this:

-Lit environments expose all sorts of colors. Don’t be afraid to lay down saturated colors.

-Skin is a difficult material to render.. I still did a few mistakes here but the correct way is to make sure that the edges where the lit part meets the shaded part should have a reddish hue to simulate subsurface scattering.

-for sun lit environments, remember that a yellowish tint would envelope all elements that are hit directly by sunlight while all the rest would have the tint based on the sky color e. g. blue for this example.

-DO NOT FORGET the reflected light that fills the shadows..

-Finally, use photo references with similar lighting conditions if you are not sure.
